It has been so wonderful to have the children back after all that snow! Things are beginning to feel normal again. We kicked off the short week with a great Band & Strings Concert on Wednesday. Our strings students played pieces such as Seminole Chant, Spy Guy, and Nutcracker March. Our band students wowed us with Twinkling Stars, Handel’s Fanfare and Minuet, and the Attack of the Cyclops. Thank you to Mrs. JoAnn Azzarello (band) and Ms. Allison Devereaux (strings) for all their work with our students!
Thursday marked the Chinese New Year – The Year of the Rabbit. Mrs. Enoch’s 1st graders celebrated by parading through the OES hallways with their dragon! They chanted “Gung Hay Fat Choy” to onlookers on their route.
Lastly, Ms. Robinson’s 3rd graders designed Greek column structures using using everything from legos to marshmellows! Take a look…
It’s been a great week! -cg
