Science Fun!

Children love science – especially when it is hands-on and yucky!

Students in Miss Robinson’s 3rd grade class dissected owl pellets this week.  Exploring owl pellets is an excellent way to learn about what owls eat and how owls digest their food. Students can also learn a lot about the bone structure of the small rodents who have become the owl’s dinner by dissecting the pellet of bone and fur the owl regurgitates after swallowing his prey whole. -cg
