3rd Grade Entrepreneurs

Oakton 3rd grade students held their Economics Fair on Friday afternoon.  Students designed, manufactured, advertised, and sold their products or services to excited customers.  Students determined the need and interest of their customers and raised or dropped prices accordingly.  Tie-died shirts, beaded bookmarks, flags, robot crayons, cookies, magnets, origami, sushi, nail painting… you name it – it was there.  The cafeteria was humming with excitement as students from grades K-6, parents, and teachers particpated in this 3rd grade creative marketplace.  There were many happy customers who left with new treasures and big smiles! – cg
